Key Takeaways from Together in The Trades 2024

Hey folks, I'm excited to share that "Together in the Trades" 2024 was another successful event. This marriage conference that my wife Brittany and I host with Brian and Liz Fullerton for couples in the green industry has become an annual tradition that we look forward to, and this year was no exception. In a recent episode of Kid Contractor podcast, we gave a "de-briefing" of the event. Joining us for this episode were our good friends Brian and Liz Fullerton, the co-hosts of "Together in the Trades". Together, we dove into the key insights and takeaways from the weekend, covering everything from the power of community and the importance of self-awareness to the challenges of entrepreneurship and the value of marriage coaching. One of the standout moments for me was hearing from Brad and Tammi Miller of Tandem Marriage, a couple who have become the "matriarch and patriarch" of the event. Their honesty and vulnerability in sharing their own marriage journey was incredibly impactful, reminding us all that even the most successful couples face obstacles and have to work at maintaining a healthy relationship. Another highlight was the discussion around love languages and how understanding your partner's needs can make a profound difference in your communication and connection. This is something Brittany and I have been working on in our own marriage, and it was great to hear the perspectives of our fellow attendees. Of course, no recap of "Together in the Trades" would be complete without a mention of our sponsors, Vermeer and Synced Up. Their support has been instrumental in making this event a success, and we're grateful for their commitment to the green industry community. If you're interested in learning more, be sure to check out part two of our discussion over on the Fullerton Unfiltered Podcast. And if you're a couple in the green industry, I highly encourage you to consider attending the 2025 "Together in the Trades" event. Stay tuned as 2025 dates will be announced soon. It's an experience that has the power to transform your business and your marriage. Until next time, keep crushing it!
