As a contractor with over 20 years of experience in the green industry, I've seen firsthand the dangers that come with this line of work. From mowers flinging rocks at high speeds to excavators tipping over on job sites, there's no shortage of hazards out there. That's why on my latest podcast episode, I really wanted to drive home the importance of safety.
We heard from one guest about how even something as routine as driving to and from jobs each day is risky, with distracted motorists posing a threat to those of us working alongside busy roads. It's so easy to take for granted that we'll make it home safely to our families each night. But as another speaker pointed out, no one has promised us that will be the case.
